He is a master guitar player with a soft but sometimes husky voice, with musical roots based in blues and rockabilly. Growing up in America, living and loosing the 'american dream', he moved from Iceland to Sweden around the age of twenty and stayed there more or less for a decade. He busked on the streets of Scandinavia and Europe and lived the nomadic lifestyle for years. After moving back to Iceland he became prominent as a musician and has ever since remained the status as one the country's most popular and beloved artist.

In 2006 KK released the record 'Blús' (blues) on our label, a colorful blues album and his first one to be all sung in Icelandic. However the songs are not new but by master bluesmen like Willie Dixon, Walter Jacobs, Lowell Fulson and many more. KK Blús became a bestseller in Iceland in 2006.
