| In the beginning the line up was Haukur Gröndal on clarinet, saxophone and bassett horn, Nicholas Kingo accordion, Peter Jorgensen double bass and Helgi Sv. Helgason on drums and percussion. In 2002 Helgi Helgason moved from Copenhagen back to Iceland and was therefore replaced by danish drummer Anders Provis. In 2003 bassplayer Peter Jorgensen was replaced by Rasmus Moldrup and a trumpetplayer, Thomas Caudery, was added to the front line of the band. The groups repertoire has from the beginning consisted of classic klezmer and balkantunes and original compositions. In february 2003 the group receorded their first album Sey mir gesunt. Released on Rodent and distributed by 12 Tónar in Reykjavik. In june 2005 they released their second album "So long Sonja" on the 12 Tónar label.
